ASL has compiled a Career Services Handbook for students to use which includes the following areas:

• The Legal Resume: Tips on the structure of a legal resume, how to alter the resume to fit a specific job, how to explain negative items on your resume, etc.



• Networking: Tips on why networking is important, honing networking skills, goals of networking, etc.



• The Interview: Tips on conduct at interviews, question handling, offers, thank yous, ASL interviewing rules and policies, etc.



• The Cover Letter: Tips on cover letter writing, useful phrases, and thank you letter writing. With examples of each included.
