At Appalachian School of Law, we offer a range of academic programs that are designed to prepare students for successful legal careers. Our programs are rigorous, challenging, and focused on developing the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the legal profession.
Our Juris Doctor (J.D.) program is the cornerstone of our academic offerings. It is a full-time, three-year program that provides students with a broad foundation in legal doctrine and skills. Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, with opportunities for students to participate in clinics, externships, and moot court.
We also offer a variety of certificate programs, including a Certificate in Criminal Law, Certificates in Cybersecurity Policy and Cybersecurity Management, a Certificate in Natural Resource Law, a Certificate in Litigation, and a Certificate in Family Law. These programs allow students to focus their studies on a specific area of law and develop expertise in that area.
At Appalachian School of Law, we are committed to providing our students with a supportive and collaborative learning environment. We offer small class sizes, personalized attention from faculty, and a range of academic support services to help students succeed.
Our graduates are well-prepared for successful legal careers, with a strong foundation in legal doctrine, practical skills, and professional ethics. We are proud of our alumni and their achievements, and we look forward to continuing to provide high-quality legal education to future generations of lawyers.
