Professor Jeremy W. Hurley participates Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Hybrid School Law Conference

We are proud to share that our very own Professor Jeremy W. Hurley recently participated in the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Hybrid School Law Conference held at the Richmond Marriott Short Pump on May 31, 2024.

The conference was a day filled with enlightenment and collaboration, bringing together legal professionals, school board members, and policymakers in the Commonwealth.

Professor Hurley, alongside Professor Nachman Gutowski from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, delivered an insightful presentation on “Empowering Education: Exploring Generative AI’s Impact on Learning, School Governance, and in Practice.” Their session provided valuable insights into how AI can shape the future of education, school governance, and legal practice.

At Appalachian School of Law, we are dedicated to being forward-thinking and redefining legal education. By actively contributing to educational advancements at all levels across the Commonwealth, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the future of education.
