Justice Mims earned his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University and an L.L.M. from Georgetown University. Prior to being elected to the Supreme Court of Virginia by the Virginia General Assembly in 2010, Justice Mims served as a delegate and senator in the Virginia House of Delegates and Virginia Senate, respectively. Justice Mims has also served as Virginia’s Attorney General.
