Veterans Mentoring Veterans

Appalachian School of Law also has a program entitled “Veterans Mentoring Veterans” where second and third-year veterans are paired up with first-year veterans. These students help the first-year Veterans with adjusting to life in law school, finding local veterans support groups, and anything else that they need.

After veterans have completed their first year of law school, they are able to volunteer as veteran mentors to fulfill their community service requirements.

For more information, please contact the Admissions Office, which coordinates veterans outreach at ASL.
