Today marked the beginning of orientation for our spring-start students. One of the many ways Appalachian School of Law sets itself apart from other programs is the option to begin your J.D. journey in the fall as well as the spring. This offers flexibility and the opportunity to follow your dreams on your time. Spring start students still complete coursework on a normal timeline and are able to walk at graduation with the fall class before them in May, prior to finishing their last semester in December.
Part of our group kicked off the week with a follow-up tour, informational sessions, and their professionalism oath. Supreme Court Justice Teresa M. Chafin administered the oath after a personal, in-depth conversation. We welcome them to the ASL family.
